 GHS Labeling & Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

  • Label elements: Signal words, pictograms, hazard & precautionary statements

  • 16-section SDS format and how to interpret key sections

  • Workplace container labeling & SDS accessibility

Chemical Handling, Storage, & PPE

  • Safe handling & proper storage (incompatible materials, ventilation)

  • PPE selection for chemical safety

Spill Response & Emergency Actions

  • Steps for handling spills & exposure incidents

  • Fire hazards & proper extinguishers

  • Reporting procedures

Workplace Responsibilities & Compliance

  • HazCom Written Plan, employer/employee responsibilities

  • Reporting unsafe conditions & maintaining compliance

Assessment & Practical Application (Optional)
